This is the classic beef stew: chunks of browned chuck roast, potatoes, onions, carrots and peas in light gravy. Nothing fancy or difficult here, but I can tell you the house smells amazing for days! I use Cook’s Illustrated recipe for Classic Beef Stew found in their excellent book, “ The Best Slow and Easy Recipes. Subscribe in a reader.
