Tuesday, December 4, 2012. More Like The Middle of Nowhere. The door to the showers was frozen shut this morning. The power went out in the chow hall so we didn't have lunch today. The power also went out in the gym so I couldn't work out. Sitting in front of this computer I can see my breath. I had to kill a kitten before dinner. Saturday, March 17, 2012. Well I finally did it. I graduated my Basic and 68W training. I am officially a Combat Medic for the US Army. I had a great time training and hope to continue learning and getting better at my new job skill. I hope you all enjoy the pictures. Now I'm off to Kansas. I've been blessed and fortunate enough to be stationed in the same unit as my cousin Daryl. He'll be in Kansas in May. I'm very excited, and look forward to seeing what life has in store for me next. Monday, May 30, 2011. No song today. I stayed up a bit too late last night. Usually when I sleep in late I wake up too groggy to sing. I have lost half an inch in my thighs, half an inch around my waist, and an inch around my stomach in the past week. That is awesome news! Something I need to work on:. Saturday, April 30, 2011. Cause baby you're a firework! Dorothy is going to Prom! I only ever went to one school dance and that was prom my sophomore year with my now ex husband. I really wish I would have done more in high school. Maybe made some better friends too. Oh well, all I can do now is help my younger siblings enjoy their special night.
