Candied walnuts (saute walnuts in a bit of butter and add a tbls of brown sugar). Please feel free to substitute here. Fresh strawberries, blueberries, pecans, pine nuts. Tuesday, January 4. The dish} BBQ Sweet Potato. I can't say this was an original idea of mine . but I really can't remember where I saw it. Perhaps a cooking show . Any who . it's inspired! Why not take the delicious and sweet, sweet potato and bake it. Then top it with some good ole sweet and tangy BBQ, perhaps some caramelized onions and peppers some slaw and call it a whip-dinger of a meal. And this is the kind of meal my kids will love and I mean LOVE. You see what I am getting at! SO here's the plan.

These are easy enough for her to make an delicious enough to serve to a party of pastry lovers or just our family. Wait those are one in the same! C's peachy popovers by 13 year old c. Frozen phyllo dough thawed - by directions on box - remember to keep phyllo moist with a wet towel. Butter - 3 tbls melted. 1 pck frozen peaches thawed. 1/2 cup sugar or to taste. Powdered sugar to sprinkle. Have a peachy day!
