Amazed by Him: January 2009
http://w2-amazedbyhim.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
Monday, January 26, 2009. So I have been stuck lately on a single word: ABANDON. For me right now, this is what genuine worship is about. Allow me to lay some dictionaritication on you:. 8211;verb (used with object). To leave completely and finally; forsake utterly; desert: to abandon one's farm; to abandon a child; to abandon a sinking ship. To give up; discontinue; withdraw from: to abandon a research project; to abandon hopes for a stage career. Or how about this one:. To be doing when we worship God?

Monday, March 17, 2008. Worship 2.0 Fallout. Wow Worship 2.0 was awesome! Thanks to all of you that came out and got a taste of what God can do outside of Sunday. I do want to make a point about Worship 2.0. The idea is not that we are necessarily trying to do something new. The point is that we are trying to create an atmosphere in which we are open to the. Teach Me How to Be in Awe". Came from, anyway back to the blog):. Strength will rise as we wait upon the Lord. To all of you fellow laborers in Chri...

gravis yovis: Lake Weekend
http://gravisyovis.blogspot.com/2007/06/lake-weekend.html
The start of a journey. Well, here is an updated picture of my friend Matt. You remember, that guy who is getting married in a little over a week. I told you he has dropped some pounds and is looking quite svelte. Here he's pictured with his beautiful fiance Deb, and that fine young man in his arms is Jackson! We had a great time this past weekend at the lake house. The weather was perfect and we spent much time out on the water. the best part of Lake Kerr is you are almost all alone on the lake!

Amazed by Him: Worship 2.1: Fresh Fragrance
http://w2-amazedbyhim.blogspot.com/2009/03/worship-21-fresh-fragrance.html
Monday, March 30, 2009. Worship 2.1: Fresh Fragrance. Be imitators of God, therefore, as dearly loved children and live a life of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.". I can't wait for Friday night, when we get to try this little experiment again. I hope that you will come. But more importantly I hope that you will come with a blank slate and let God motivate you to create an expression of worship that you may not have expected.

Sunshine Lady Di: October 2013
http://sunshineladydi.blogspot.com/2013_10_01_archive.html
Wanted to journal and this seemed to be the way to do it. Thursday, October 17, 2013. This year has gone by so fast. Can't believe it is October already. The leaves are starting to fall. I miss the brilliant colors this year. It seems we've had so much rain lately and that discourages the coloring of the leaves. I love you my friend - I'll see you again someday, Gertrude. Sunshine Lady Di: September 2010
http://sunshineladydi.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
Wanted to journal and this seemed to be the way to do it. Sunday, September 12, 2010. Today at church was amazing. You could FEEL God's presence in our worship service. I felt if God's Spirit would suddenly take on a color to be visible to human eyes, you would see it permeating the whole sanctuary. I didn't want it to end. The music, the prayers, the preaching, the worship - awesome! God is so good. I pray I will reflect His glory daily. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Wanted to journal and this seemed to be the way to do it. Monday, March 11, 2013. February was a busy month. Started out with an eye exam and finding out I needed a change for nearsightedness, farsightedness, and the astigmatism. The excitement of getting new glasses, but not looking forward to the cost. My new glasses are blinged out! It's a must for me. Then I got a new haircut. My hubby gave me a beautiful bouquet of roses and candy for Valentine's Day. God continues to bless our family! Scotts girls ...

Sunshine Lady Di: Answered prayer
http://sunshineladydi.blogspot.com/2014/09/answered-prayer.html
Wanted to journal and this seemed to be the way to do it. Thursday, September 18, 2014. Well, I promised myself I'm going to do this more often and then I don't. Facebook has taken the place of blogs - it's a quick way to put your thoughts out there. As I type this, it still seems surreal. The babies are due December 16th (Pastor Mike's birthday), but the doctor thinks it will probably be the last week of November. As a bonus, the kids are moving in with us for awhile. I'll get to hold these ...What an a...
