This year we celebrated the 4th swimming in the rain and eating yummy breakfast food. Our amazing friends let us borrow their house/pool for the morning. The weather was so fantastic and a welcome break to the heat of the summer. It was one of those times where I just took it all in and enjoyed having this happy moment. I really love my family. We went to Chicago over Christmas break and I fell in love. It was a short over night stop on our way to Craig’s hometown of Sycamore but I felt really cool and not ashamed to admit it. We started the night out at Brick Oven for dinner with friends. Then we headed over to Craig's work to go through the maze Craig made single handedly! It was really cool. I was very proud :). Then everyone came over for donuts and watched The Horror of Count Dracula. It was a festive night. Aaron, becca, chelsea, lauren. Craig made my awesome broom and his staff. Brenton, Craig, and I had a little dance party while we waited for the others to arrive. The reject playboy bunnies. Thanks for the great party.

We took our car in to get the break pads replaced and this is the outcome. The repairman just touched it and all the brake fluid leaked out. You see, our car was rusty, really really rusty. We knew it wouldn't last long but were sad to see it go so soon. The repairs would have cost more than she's worth so we had to let her go. I had a thought today that I want to be a Librarian. I see the librarian at school everyday and her job seems cool. Last week she wore a pirate hat and this week she is wearing antennas. Craig is in Vegas,. Tonight I got take out via Gurus and watched. The season premiere of Grey's Anatomy. Did I mention they have the best sweet potato fries ever}. Out in Herriman Sunday night}. Craig with Buddy,. Have I mentioned I really. We go to work, come home and make food. Gail, Dad, and Cesar visited last weekend.

I survived the 20 hour drive home. We just got back from our trip to Iowa to visit Mom and Dad Pearson. It was a lovely trip and Craig was a happy boy to be spending so much time with his family. Before I go rest my aching road trip body, I wanted to share my latest musical obsession, Mr. Johnny Cash.
