Sunday, February 02, 2014. Our January, in a nutshell. David finally got some handhelds for the climbing wall! Instead of toys, we bought the boys gift cards to Main Event. We all had fun bowling and playing laser tag. We enjoyed our fireplace more in the last month than we have in the last ten years! We bought (at the Goodwill) and put together another set of bunkbeds, and so we donated the blue car bed to the Boy Scout yardsale. They were a little sad to see it go. April 12, 2015. Four freshman acting friends. Sometimes My Job is Made of Awesome. Tuesday, Alison got to see and meet Ridley Pearson. He was a great presenter and a good sport about all the questions she had for him. And then on Saturday, we had a local string quartet from WSU come and do their musical rendition of "Where the Wild Things Are." I just recorded bits of it, but the whole thing made me very happy. April 5, 2015. She's a Number 9 Cutie. It was a POGO stick! And then we made cake.

Monday, December 31, 2012. Early early Christmas morning we were awakened by thunderstorms. They went on and on for hours. We even opened presents to the sounds of thunder. Very interesting. A first! Then, just as they predicted, the storms turned to snow as the day went on. By noon or so, it was really snowing! By the end of the afternoon we had a couple of inches! Merrick was asking about the moon one night, so the next day we broke into our two packages of JoJo's from Trader Joe's and did this activity about phases of the moon. Friday, January 31, 2014. This month, our littlest man turned four years old. It's hard to believe that he is so big already. The cliche is true. Time flies. He wanted: donuts for breakfast, pizza for dinner, an R2D2 cake, and a Lego firetruck for a present. ♥. These are while we were opening presents.
