restlessly seeking recklessness: October 2009
http://melaniekayec.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
To restlessly seek that recklessness that will challenge and seek to change human history until it conforms to the norms of the Kingdom of God". Friday, October 30, 2009. We arrived in the Entebbe airport at around 8:45 PM (12:45 PM in Tennessee/Texas time) after 27 hours of flying and sitting in airports. Tomorrow, we will drive into Kampala where we will pick up a computer that we're taking to the Kibbuse school and (hopefully) will be able to hit up the International Market! Thursday, October 29, 2009.

To restlessly seek that recklessness that will challenge and seek to change human history until it conforms to the norms of the Kingdom of God". Friday, December 4, 2009. I've been thinking I needed to do some sort of wrap-up blog about Uganda (.and have been getting the hint from a few of you.). But I'll be honest, I've kinda been delaying because, well, I don't really know what to say. I learned an overwhelming amount during my time in Uganda. I still have much to process, much to pray about. T...This ...

restlessly seeking recklessness: April 2011
http://melaniekayec.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
To restlessly seek that recklessness that will challenge and seek to change human history until it conforms to the norms of the Kingdom of God". Tuesday, April 5, 2011. It's pretty amazing to me that it's been well over a year since I last posted an entry on here.I don't know what happened. Many of my blogging friends stopped blogging and all of a sudden, it lost some of its energy for me. Goodness knows I've had PLENTY to blog about. So I guess it's time to catch up on the past year and a half of my life.

First of all, I have been encouraged to see that the teen girls ministry that God has placed so heavily on my heart is one that does,. Just as Christ gave His Great Commission to t...

Pink Sugar Bowl: Rustic Fermented Bread
http://www.pinksugarbowl.com/2013/10/rustic-fermented-bread.html
I am a baker. A baker who does not like making bread. I love bread, I enjoy the scent, the kneading and of course it's consumption. However no matter how hard I've tried over the years I end up with a doughy center or holes the size of golf balls. So when I came across fermented, no knead bread I knew it was for me. Well it's as simple as this: no sugar. So here is what you'll need on day one:. 3 cups unbleached flour - this is very important, it must be unbleached. Wheat Montana. 1 1/4 tsp sea salt.
