But Cardio says we'd better do the surgery in a hospital so he can be on a heart monitor during the procedure, and our current doc is only set up to do surgeries at a surgery center that doesn't have heart monitoring capabilities. So he's referring us to a pediatric eye doc in Ft. Worth who does surgeries in a hospital. So we'll meet the new doc soon and start the process over. Blue pant...

We were talking with the RN at the cardiology office, and she said without seeing you, we just can't say for sure. So we took Athan on to Cook's for pre-op, knowing we might not be having surgery. This is a blog for Athan Strebeck, that friends and family may journey with him. Sunday, October 7, 2012. Athan woke up not feeling well and with a scary low blood sugar. We couldn't get him to rebound at home, and had to bring him in to the ER. After a couple tries we finally got an IV run and glucose in his system. Sunday, July 27, 2008. Finally made it to a church today. We tried last week, but got the directions wrong, and by the time we figured out where we should have gone, it was too late. But this week we made it. It's kind of weird, picking out a church. I've never had to choose my church before- always went before to one my family went to, or one where I was on staff. Well, I have sit down to blog several times and I just look at the computer screen. So, I think I will tackle a new post via bullets (that seemed to previously work). I have finished a semester, grades are not great but adequate to continue in the process - so I will take it. I am super proud of all he has learned.
