I've noticed some people are still subscribing to my RSS feeds, which is a little confusing to me. You can take me off, this blog is truly dead. - I've come back to delete all my old posts for various reasons and just make sure people are aware that if they want to follow my writing, I'm over at examiner.com now as the Boston Atheism Examiner. Come check it out. :D.

Hitchhiking in Svalbard: March 2011
http://hitchhikinginsvalbard.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
Tuesday, March 29, 2011. Talk to me about what you believe. I'm interested in what people believe. I appreciate Matt Dillahunty's perspective: tell me what you believe and why you believe it. I think this posture provides a great way for believers to frame their presentations, and it demonstrates the real position of skepticism. It's a reaction to claims made by believers. Thursday, March 24, 2011. Here's a really enlightening statement made by Christopher Hitchens in a debate vs. Frank Turek. How Is Vio...

Tuesday, April 26, 2011. Closing Remarks at a 2011 Debate. Message to American Atheists. Tuesday, April 5, 2011. The Founding Fathers argument. We often hear Christians insisting that America was built on Christianity, or that this is a "Christian Nation." Bullshit. Most. Of the influential members of this group were deists at most. Here also is a really interesting comment from Reddit. From the user somn. Don't play the quote game, go right to the heart of the matter. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Does th...

Hitchhiking in Svalbard: March 2010
http://hitchhikinginsvalbard.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
Tuesday, March 2, 2010. A very reasonable post from Pharyngula. Woo peddlers drive me crazy, and Deepak Chopra is a repeat offender. PZ Myers wrote a funny post, and this user comment balanced his humor with a sensible response. A quick question for Deepak Chopra. Posted by: Antiochus Epiphanes. March 2, 2010 12:22 PM. http://hitchhikinginsvalbard.blogspot.com/2010/12/christmas-letter-from-ricky-gervais.html
Monday, December 20, 2010. A Christmas Letter from Ricky Gervais. This letter is both funny and eloquent. Along with Tim Minchin's White Wine in the Sun. Atheism in a land of fairies and piseogs. Leave P-Ezed Myers Alone! March 24, 2012. This weeks Ask An Atheist (on the Podcast. Was really interesting. They had the now infamous Alain De Botton on and I really liked it. Hes been popping up all over the place - which from an atheist perspective is a good thing: there is no such thing as bad publicity. He has a book, and article in the Sunday Times etc etc. Not fair. This is definitely a case of walk a mile in a someone elses shoes. Links to this post.

Hitchhiking in Svalbard: July 2011
http://hitchhikinginsvalbard.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html
Thursday, July 14, 2011. Today I arrived at TAM. I met several interesting people who I want to remember. I'll edit this later. Collin from Science Based Parenting was quite helpful and introduced me to several people. One of them was David from the Dallas area who runs a skeptics group there. I'll have to see if Hillary would be interested in meeting with them. I said a quick hello to Matt Lowry from our north suburban atheists and freethinkers group. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
