Sprouted Whole Moung Salad. Recipe by Atima Haranahalli. Whole Moung Dhal: 3cups (washed, soaked, sprouted). One tomato(chopped in cubes). One small red onion(finely chopped). One large english cucumber(finely chopped). Lemon Juice and salt to taste. Cilantro(finely chopped 4 tablespoons). Half a cup of fresh Pomegranate seeds. Mix all ingredients gently. Seasoning Optional: Blume in one tablespoon of olive oil, half a teaspoon of urad dahl, and mustard seeds.

Hot and Sour Vegetable Soup. Recipe by Anna Haranahalli. Soup dish with a touch of Indian flavor. Vegetables Julienne cut: mushrooms, carrots, snow peas, galan ginger, tofu. Using four liters of vegetable stock, one teaspoon of chilli rooster sauce, two tablespoons of terraroot powder or cornstarch. One tablespoon of soysauce, two tablespoons of vinegar, two tablespoons of ketchup, one spoon of tamarind puree. Optional: cabbage, bellpepper, garnish with green onions finely chopped.

Recipe from Atima Haranahalli. Lunch or dinner dish prevalently served with puffed flat bread(roti/chapati) from North India or basmati rice. One block of paneer crumbled into big pieces. In a small food processor, add one big coarsely chopped ginger, one to two green chillies, one stem of curry leaves, fresh turmeric. Blend all these ingredients finely. Add one coarsely chopped onion into the same mix and pulse it until finely chopped but not watery.

Seasoning: one tablespoon of olive oil, one teaspoon of mustard seeds, 1/4th teaspoon of caram/ajwan, pinch of celery seeds, one teaspoon of urad dahl. Half a teaspoon of fenugreek/ menthi seeds, red chilli powder, half a teaspoon of asafoetida. Fresh turmeric, curry leaves, ginger, green chillies. Garnish: freshly grated coconut.
