A Tiny Slice Of Paradise

A Tiny Slice Of Paradise. Observations of a very large garden or a very small farm. Gardening in middle Tennessee. Record-keeping has been spotty this year as we have been moving. Hope to catch up on that this weekend. I am happy to see that some of my tomato seeds from 2006 and 2007 have germinated, even if rates are low as expected. If I can get tomatoes off of one or two plants, then I can have fresh seed. I am also pleased that peppers are doing well. Links to this post. Gardening in Middle Tennessee.

High Desert Gardening: November 2011

http://highdesertgardening.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html

My adventures in gardening (with Chickens) in the Northern Nevada High Desert. Monday, November 28, 2011. Seed Catalog Season Already? Thanksgiving brought some balmy days in the mid-60's (*F) and mild nights that only flirted with freezing. Bright blue skies and wispy clouds. Makes it difficult to believe that it could be Seed Catalog Season already! And my second catalog arrived this week - from Totally Tomatoes. Hill Billy, Old German, Orange Strawberry, Merlot and Mexico Midget - tomato dreaming.

Why should I even try to stop the collapse. Had it been different. The depths of a man’s soul cannot be measured,. In a manor of meters and fathoms. ---- A Tiny Spark* ----

In the desert of Nevada, His Excellency Kevin Baugh has founded the independent Republic of Molossia and created a faux secession. With a population of 6 (including his 3 faithful dogs) and a complex infrastructure that ranges from a miniature railroad system to a Customs Booth at the front door, Molossia provokes us and make us reflect upon the meaning of sovereignty and the limits of our individual freedoms. A mighty flame followeth a tiny spark". Back to top ]. His Excellency Kevin Baugh. Back to top ].
