Tuesday, July 24. Days 19 and 20 - Glen Nevis to Inverness to Carbisdale Castle. Day 19: Glen Nevis to Inverness. This day involved cycling along the Great Glen Fault: alongside Loch Lochy, Loch Oich, Loch Ness and the Caledonian Canal. Sunday, July 29. Just a quick post to let you know that we made it to John o'Groats and are now back in Sheffield. We did 1077 miles in total! Wednesday, July 25. Day 21 - Carbisdale Castle to Helmsdale. We have moved from a massive castle to a small bunkhouse tonight with a bit of a bike ride in between. There are now more midges than one can shake a pile of sticks at. Today's wildlife included another pine marten (sadly this one had left this life), some seals which were very much alive and a small snake of some description. The day was fairly steady and the end is now in sight. We saw our first signs to John O'Groats since Land's End.
