Memories of backpacking and fishing in Wyoming's Wind River Range. Sunday, August 8, 2010. On our last night camping, the wind was blowing so hard that we were concerned about a tree blowing over landing on us inside our tent while we slept. We considered re-locating our tent to a new location, but we decided to just leave it where it was because the trees were swaying everywhere around us and we really wouldn’t have been safer anywhere else. Me crossing one of the cold streams. One of my first catches.

Probably the work of local riff-raff from Lander. Classic. Me and the dogs at the trail head. First of the many breaks we took on the long hike up to Sonnicant. One of the ponds we passed on the hike up. Cool bridge by Movo Lake. Justin and Dad with the first catch of the trip. Not bad! Me with one of my first catches.
