Sunday, September 29, 2013. After a fun two days visiting with Aunt Martha, Uncle Steven, and cousin Joe, we decided to take advantage of the beautiful fall weather and drive up to the mountains to the apple orchards. Elizabeth picked apples, jumped on the bungee jump, rode a pony, and enjoyed her first apple cider doughnut. Next weekend, we are planning to use all of our apples to bake a pie! Monday, January 21, 2013. John and I both had Monday off, so we had a nice long weekend to enjoy. John went to Charlotte to visit Reagan, Shannon and meet seven month-old Emerson, and Elizabeth and I enjoyed a girls' weekend at home. We had lunch with Ella and her mom, got a haircut (first time at the grown up salon! And made ice cream sundaes and popcorn. Weight: 12 pounds, 15 ounces (98th percentile). Head circumference: 14 3/4 inches (75th percentile). As a point of reference, Elizabeth had almost the exact same stats at her four month appointment.
