We also visited Casapueblo which is a hotel located between Punta del Este and Piriápolis. We arrived there just at the perfect time and the light was just great. Dienstag, 5. April 2011. Today I spent together with Felix and Nacho a fantastic day in Cordoba. From the railway station in Cordoba we first walked to the Mezquita. Alcázar de los Reyes Cristianos. Domestic courtyards like the ones displayed below are very typical for Cordoba. During our day in Cordoba we enjoyed some great food (like tortillas and raciones) and drinks at several different very nice places. Cristo de los Faroles (the christ of the streetlamps). Dienstag, 28. September 2010. Back to New York. Montag, 27. September 2010. Joggings Fossil Cliffs and Fort Beausejour. The fossils which were found at the Joggings Fossil Cliffs are characterized by their great diversity - in total more than 200 different species were found. It is worth mentioning that most of the fossils were found inside of trees. Two years ago Joggings Fossil Cliffs were declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Visitor Center is brand new and won several prizes for its green design.
