Atlas Hugged: July 2006
http://atlas-hugged.blogspot.com/2006_07_01_archive.html
Wednesday, July 26, 2006. Newfoundland is better than Toronto because no one has broken into my vehicle to steal anything from it. Traffic is also slightly different. God, it is pretty here. Posted by Atlas Hugged at 4:35 AM. Wednesday, July 19, 2006. I am not a Yankee, but I wish I was. They deal with the adversity by culling through the minor leagues and crappier teams and give uni's to five total chuckers who immediately after putting on the pinstripes turn into heros. Atlas Hugged: April 2006

Thursday, April 27, 2006. Media Monopolies- one message, different voices. Far be it from me to criticize a media monopoly. Last week, it actually got me quoted in over 14 different newspapers across the country, including the thriving metropolis of Saskatoon. I put the link at the bottom. So is the Canwest chain (nee Southam) the Wynand Papers? Gail Wynand sold his integrity for power, I am not sure Lord Black. Equalization of Media Opportunity Bill. Because he understood sales. He knew that not eve...

Atlas Hugged: August 2006

Friday, August 25, 2006. Liberal views on Pluto. With the state of the universe in the balance, several liberal leadership hopefuls have joined in on the debate on the celestial status of Pluto. Liberal outsider Martha Hall Findlay looked great. Former Ontario Education Minister Gerrard Kennedy lashed out at the printing industry. "The only beneficiaries of this are the publishing companies. In the past, they invented that base-6 crap so that we would buy new textbooks." Speaking to a crowd o...Dr Caroly...

Atlas Hugged: October 2006
http://atlas-hugged.blogspot.com/2006_10_01_archive.html
Friday, October 27, 2006. Over the past month, there has been a lot of idiocy on the Hill about what is/not acceptable behaviour in the House of Commons. While debating the relative merits and politeness of debate might be interesting to those inside the beltway (for Ottawa, this stretches from Sandy Hill, across the 417 North to the Parkway) it really is up to the voters to decide who is being polite and who isn't. I would love to meet with you, call me! An hour before the meeting. She has a date with t...

Atlas Hugged: September 2006
http://atlas-hugged.blogspot.com/2006_09_01_archive.html
Friday, September 29, 2006. I had to help a friend this afternoon who was having car trouble. It turns out that the replacement parts are good for the life of the car. Does this mean that if I get a car that is completely made out of Motormaster parts that I will never have to buy a car again? I have investigated further, and there are only eight pieces to your standard car that Motormaster doesn't make. The most important of which is the body. Details, I say. Posted by Atlas Hugged at 1:44 PM. More impo...

Atlas Hugged: March 2006
http://atlas-hugged.blogspot.com/2006_03_01_archive.html
Thursday, March 30, 2006. What is John Galt? I can tell you this much, when looking at current leadership candidates for the Liberal Party of Canada, I think that asking "who isn't John Galt" is far easier. Her visage, her wealth, and her uncanny ability to be visible make her one of the easier targets for Canada's media to include in conversations about who is the next aspirant Prime Minister. The role of the media in anointing leaders is also a subject for another day. 22 rumored Liberal leadership con...

Atlas Hugged: June 2006

Friday, June 30, 2006. If, g-d forbid, I am ever in a position of authority that allows the appointment of people to important positions, not only am I going to rely on patronage, I am going to make the case that defends the existence of it. The first line would be something like Oh, you should have seen the collection of my slimy friends who didn’t get a job. Posted by Atlas Hugged at 7:13 AM. Tuesday, June 27, 2006. One nation, two nation, red nation, blue nation. If it was only about language, Ne.

Atlas Hugged: December 2006
http://atlas-hugged.blogspot.com/2006_12_01_archive.html
Wednesday, December 20, 2006. Deck the Hill with bows of Folly. At a menorah lighting ceremony in Ottawa Monday, the Prime Minister noted that energy intensity is the solution to all of Canada's environmental woes. "If only Canada could get eight days of light out of single drop of oil - It is by improving our energy intensity that we will reduce our GHG emissions.". Jack Layton, sitting around the festivus poll, noted that Santa Claus was just as bad as Harper and the Liberals. "In terms of the envi...

Atlas Hugged: May 2006

Friday, May 26, 2006. The finalists for American Idol received more votes then any previous U.S. Presidential candidate. I only wish I was kidding. Two months of media sightings and an ultra-liberal documentary and speaking tour later, from the ashes comes Al Gore ( D- Tennessee. The funny part is that Gore is seen as the ABC (anybody but Clinton ( D Parachute. And Canada’s Belidiot (beloved idiot? Are interesting, and my position for all three is identical- it would be a shame and a loss for feminism if...
