I love old doors! I think the possibilities of what you can do with them are endless! This is in the toy room of our house. Yes, the picture quality is lousy. I got this beauty at The Deseret Industries. It was a whopping $5. I needed a table where the kids could drive their trains across the top or build a lego city or paint a picture. I loved the size of this one. And I loved the fact that the bottom could hold baskets of toys or art supplies. Really, doesn't every child need a cute rocking horse?

Sunday, July 19, 2015. Prayers these days seem to focus on my children. I suppose it will be that way for the rest of my life. One of the most difficult things for me as a parent is knowing when to discipline them and when to pick my battles. You can’t get mad at them for everything otherwise you would always be mad! This was kind-of how my prayer went the other night:. Help me to know when to let them play and when to make them go to bed. Help me to know when to discipline and when to let it go.

Sunday, April 12, 2009. We've had a busy weekend- most of it Easter related. That and a ward activity took up our entire weekend. The girls decorated Easter eggs at my Sister Shanda's house on Thursday. They loved doing it. And since they did it at Shanda's house, I didn't have to clean up the mess- she did! Tayla displaying her eggs. One thing that I can't get over was that the activity committee ordered enough pizza to feed 40 kids and yet those 12-15 kids ate it all (and drank the 5 bottles of pop!

We went this year and had the greatest time (and that's coming from someone who HATES to swim! We did pick the coldest day of the summer (66 degrees for a high) to go so we spent a lot of time in the hot pools. Everyone went on the slide except me, my sister Shanda and my Mom.
