February 15-17: An Explosive Dance Experience in New Mexico. This year we’re bringing back the Ambidancetrous Jack and Jill! We had such a great time with it last year that we just had to do it again. It will be just like a regular Jack and Jill; you sign up on your own (no partner needed), you show up on the day of the competition and you dance with several different partners selected at random. Am bi dance ter i ty. The ability to lead or follow with equal ease. Competition: $10 per person.

The two class locations are fairly close, but separated by a freeway. We don’t expect many people to go back and forth between the two (we’ve intentionally arranged the tracks that way), but if you need to, make sure you arrange transportation—many people will have vehicles, and we can help if need be. When we started Atomic two years ago, we weren’t sure we could pull it off at all. Who would come all the way to New Mexico to dance? We hardly even had a dance scene ourselves! We were sure though that the best way to build our own scene would be to bring a group of amazing dancers in who could showoff how wonderful blues and fusion can be.
