Ragweed-Pollen gilt als einer der stärksten Pflanzenallergene und verursacht Heuschnupfen, Asthma und Kontaktallergie. Die Pollenkörner sind sehr klein (ca. 20 µm) und werden durch den Wind verbreitet.
