Mini Me: April 2013
http://juniorjoe.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html
The Tales From The Crib. Friday, April 12, 2013. Pretty much, an epic fail all the way around. Let's be real. Preschoolers have the attention span of an ant. Here are a few things we tried:. 2 Ping Pong with paper plates, popsicle sticks, and a balloon. Yep, that lasted such a short time that there are no photos. Know why else? Because they thought it was more fun to tear off the popsicle stick from the paper plate and make me re-hot glue it. 3 We cooked. They didn't eat it. Twice. I assured him that it ...

Mini Me: February 2014
http://juniorjoe.blogspot.com/2014_02_01_archive.html
The Tales From The Crib. Sunday, February 9, 2014. We make it home to find that half of the neighborhood has been stopped in their tracks right in front of our house. Poor twin mamma was not getting her nap because we are now all at her house for our snow party watching people try to drive up our road. Not working so well. So, did we play in the snow? Happy for a moment. We found Spencer swinging in the swing. His entire face chapped and red from the cold and wind. He looks up and says, "Can we g...That ...

Mini Me: June 2013
http://juniorjoe.blogspot.com/2013_06_01_archive.html
The Tales From The Crib. Friday, June 14, 2013. The Summer Chronicles, Part I. Of course, the last day of school was also very sentimental because it was the last day of Preschool. We are starting the non-optional my mom can't take me out whenever she wants "real school." It is hard to believe that we will have a Kindergartener. People have asked me if I am sad, and I really believe the answer is no. I think he will bloom. She took great care of my little man for me and made a lasting impression on him.

The Tales From The Crib. Friday, June 27, 2014. Oh, I am sorry, the last paragraph probably made everyone faint because I believe I said our family was going to the beach. Yep. The stand-out (i.e., father bear) finally relented that he could not put off an ocean viewing any longer in his children's life and would just have to suck it up and get out a checkbook. I believe the following ate at his soul:. Spencer: "Alden, the beach has a really big sand box we can play in.". Still playing in sand. Now, this...

Mini Me: December 2013
http://juniorjoe.blogspot.com/2013_12_01_archive.html
The Tales From The Crib. Wednesday, December 11, 2013. Dear Children (and me),. I just finished reading yet another Facebook "shared"message about what an epic fail I am as a parent. I usually read these and feel terribly guilty and roll around in all of the things I did wrong today according to the article, all the missed opportunities in my child's life because I was in a hurry. Well, today, children, I refuse to be guilty. A dirty ass house with no clothes and paper plates? Sunday, December 8, 2013.

The Tales From The Crib. Saturday, July 27, 2013. The Summer Chronicles: June. Zoo Birthday Party #2 in Alden's five years of life was off! Dinosaur mania had begun. I was given instructions on what to make, what to order, and who to invite. Considering how often Alden has been to the zoo, he could have planned the party all by himself if only we trusted him with our American Express card. Still can't believe there are five candles on that cake! To the sewing machine I go! My two little dinos. A view of ...

http://juniorjoe.blogspot.com/2012_11_01_archive.html
The Tales From The Crib. Sunday, November 11, 2012. Harrison's 13th week marked the beginning of the Halloween festivities and all things pumpkin. As usual, we don't do much halfway and sign up for every activity we can possibly imagine to enrich our boy's seasonal experiences. What is a pumpkin patch without bouncy houses and slides? Next up for a day on the farm is pony rides of course. The chosen one. The first pumpkin of Halloween. Little boy joy: A giant haystack. I don't remember why, but I do know...
