Bad Cook, Great Baker. Tuesday, April 23, 2013. This past weekend, the whole family (minus Adam) headed to Auburn University to surprise Mitchell at Founder's Weekend/A-Day. He knew my parents were coming, but had no idea Jeff or I had been planning to also attend for months. Shockingly, he was being a good driver and didn't actually check his tweets, so we hid behind the bar and jumped out when he walked in. As can be expected, he didn't look excited (but we could tell he was on the inside! We were all ...

Bad Cook, Great Baker. Monday, April 20, 2015. First things first, baby girl's crib came in! I keep shutting the bedroom door and reopening it just to look at it. Her room is slowly coming together and it just makes things seem so much more real! The weekend started with getting my fix of Tex-Mex at Mi Cocula. Katie isn't a fan of mexican food (I know, WHAT? We spent the rest of the afternoon at a Crawfish Boil with their friends. The weather was nice and it was fun to just hang outside all day! And yes,...

Bad Cook, Great Baker. Monday, April 20, 2015. Here to make my blogging debut, it's me Adam! Sorry that my first post is super long! I'd like to start and say a big Thank You! Right before my turn, I looked at Lizzie and said, "This is going to be weird, it's going to be too long." She assured me over and over that it was going to be great. My wife was my biggest supporter through this and was the main reason why I decided to get baptized. I don't know what David was talking about that day, but one simpl...

Bad Cook, Great Baker. Celebrating Moms and Grads! Monday, May 11, 2015. We have really lucked out with (at least) three weeks of gorgeous weather! After a gross, rainy winter - I'll take it. We joined my parents and Papabear at the Braves. Game on Tuesday night, and the weather just made the win even more enjoyable! Thanks for the awesome picture, Dad! Don't mind us not looking. My adorable hubs found me some soft serve ice cream - something that always. On Thursday, it was back to Taste of the Nation!

Bad Cook, Great Baker. Fun in the Sun. Monday, May 4, 2015. It has been a beautiful past two weekends, and Adam and I have had so much fun doing things outside! But, of course, let's start with indoor activities. We helped my parents celebrate their 28th Wedding Anniversary on April 23 at Pricci. They had a gift certificate, so let us tag along (apparently just to take pictures! I hung out with my favorite little boy while Meagan ran some errands. Jude is so. Our church hosted a picnic at Laurel Park.

Bad Cook, Great Baker. Tuesday, April 7, 2015. Easter is always one of my favorite holidays. Other than it obviously being a crucial day for us Christians, the weather always seems to be beautiful and I love any excuse to be surrounded by family. We kicked off the week by being 20 weeks pregnant! On Friday night, we headed to the Coopers to finally meet little Minnie! Ignore the terrible quality of the picture, how cute is she in her rain jacket? Two visits in two weeks? He's the absolute cutest sometimes.
