A DREAM TO BECOME A PILOT. ATPL opleiding bij BAFA (Ben Air Flight Academy). Zondag 13 december 2009. Verslag 61 - MCC done, BAFA done! De MCC is voorbij en dat was dan ook de laatste dag op BAFA (voorlopig). Zoals meeste weten is de MCC cursus een omvorming van single pilot naar multi crew. Niet zo simpel als het lijkt. Een crew van 2 piloten bestaat altijd uit een captain en een first officer, een pilot flying en een pilot non flying. Ieder heeft zijn specifieke taken. 16 december 2009 14:38.

De simulator training is eindelijk voorbij! Vorige week ben ik dan ook begonnen met de missies op de Piper Seminole, intussen heb ik er 3 gedaan en het zijn er ongeveer een 10 tot het CPL examen. Er is veel gebeurd in de afgelopen weken. Zo heb ik de type rating Bae146/AvroRJ voltooid. We zijn begonnen met de theorie, in amper 2 weken waren alle systemen van het vliegtuig gecovered en kenden we de SOP's (standard operating procedures). Wat houdt dit in? Eén ding is zeker! Op woensdag 14 oktober had ik mijn initiële linecheck. Het was een vluchtje naar krakow, polen en sinds die dag ben ik gelost als first officer op de lijn.
