expressions of art: EXPLORING LINE
http://kathyswift.blogspot.com/2009/05/exploring-line.html
Correspondence about my art journey - where I've been, where I am, and where I am going. Tuesday, May 5, 2009. I have been exploring line and colour using different kinds of markers and slick papers. I was using repetition as an element of design, and using sakura gel pen, I would hold a number of pens in my hand at the same time, and draw lines and patterns that are repeated by each pen. I could also use a colour dominance and really focus on the lines, and shapes. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

expressions of art: PLAYING WITH MARKERS
http://kathyswift.blogspot.com/2009/05/playing-with-markers.html
Correspondence about my art journey - where I've been, where I am, and where I am going. Tuesday, May 5, 2009. 160;It's like being a little girl again, taking out the coloured markers, and just layering them over each other, watching the interactions of mark and colour. Having spent many years working in watercolour, this experience was pure joy, as the markers stay liquid for a while on this slick surface paper - long enough to bump into each other and join forces.
