Thursday, January 3, 2013. I can't believe I've been gone from this space for so long. December always puts me into a frenzy and I never feel like I quite get to be where I want to be by Christmas. ButI did do some thinking since I've been gone and decided that I'm not going to visit this space much more. As the title says.959 days.that is how long I have until Matt heads off to college. I was quite shocked to see that it was under a thousand. But wow! So where does that leave me? Your kids will thank you.

Tuesday, January 27, 2015. I can't believe January will be over soon. Along with September, January is right up there as one of my favorite months. You probably can guess why: the chaos is over, children are back to school, quiet penetrates the house. I may be here more or I might not. I will see. I've been watching my time on the computer. Eeking out that last second of sleep, only to rush through a shower and into the car to arrive on time. It drives me crazy.but I've come to accept the whole situation. So, as I was waiting, I sat. Her name was Doris Melvin and she was a wonderful baker and shared many of her recipes with me. Every year I try to come up with a few wrapping ideas to make this tedious chore more fun. I have a few gift cards to give and it's always hard to figure out a creative way to wrap them, so I came up with this knitted gift card holder. It's so quick to make.
