Rules and Regulations for 2017. AKS board members reserve the right to call any event if they consider it unsafe for drivers or spectators or track personnel. Board members also reserve the right to decide or change any item not covered in the rule book if it is deemed necessary. Atwater Karting Speedway was started in 2000 as a non-profit organization formed to provide an affordable facility that promotes family relationships through the sport of go kart racing. Our theme of Atwater Karting Speedway is Where Kids Get Hooked on Dirt. About 75% of our racers are boys and girls between the ages of 6 15. Typically the pit crews are made up of Mom and Dad. Aqua Tech Waterjet and Laser - Projects. April 2, 2015 -. In an effort to help reduce the damage done by the worsening California drought, Aqua Tech is taking big strides to reduce water usage. We have installed a state of the art chiller with a closed loop system to recycle water. It allows the closed loop system (which uses city water) to cool it's intensifier pumps and reuse the water instead of dumping it down the drain. We estimate to save 6 million gallons of water in 2015 with our new chiller.
