Tonight was a great night on the lake. They held the Christmas parade of lights tonight. Christmas 2008 was a bit unusual for us, we didn't have a tree because the house was under construction, but we were glad to have Garrett come home to visit us and recooperate from a surgery on his shoulder. July 28, 2010. My friend Claudia and I participated in a Zumbathon to benefit breast cancer research, it was 80's themed. For those who don't know what Zumba is.it's a latin inspired dance and exercise class. It's lots of fun. We did 3 hrs this night.it was quite the workout! September 20, 2010. Trip up to Michigan. We headed to Michigan in July. On the way up we stopped to visit Joyce (Sam's friend from high school) and her son Donald. January 14, 2010. I keep saying that Trey is into everything.well he keeps getting into more. Now he can reach stuff that is on the edge of the table or counter. Mayson had some pudding the other night and left the mainly empty bowl on the table. Trey was thrilled at his discovery. The day before he was able to reach her paint, thank goodness they are washable.and non-toxic! He walked around licking the bowl for at least 20 minutes. January 9, 2010. Mayson sledding at the Brewers. Santa came to visit.

June 22, 2010. Mayson's last day of school party. Trying to make snacks fun. We went to a paint your own pottery place Mother's Day weekend. We experienced a "bull in a china shop" with Trey. I was a nervous wreck. Hopefully this isn't lead based paint :). June 16, 2010. Mayson had her gymnastics recitial at the begining of May. February 2, 2010. Trey turned 1 on January 8th! We celebrated with my family the weekend after. Mayson insisted that Trey had a "Star" cake. Since he didn't care I let her decide this year. We let him tear up the star cake and then we also had a LaLa's chocolate cake w/ icing (yum! Trey did enjoy both cakes. He just kept eating and eating. At the end he was sitting in his booster seat eating cake with his feet propped up on the table and was pooting.such a man! Birthday boy enjoying some cake.

October 29, 2010. We thought we would try and get a picture of all the cousins while in Michigan. I have a feature on my camera that takes pictures super quick. I was sure with that we could get one good one. No such luck. I took hundreds, literally and not one with all of them looking.
