tea and cathedrals: I can hardly eat muffins in an agitated manner, can I?
http://bethaniejo.blogspot.com/2012/05/several-months-ago-i-had-rather.html
I can hardly eat muffins in an agitated manner, can I? Several months ago, I had a rather glamorous Thursday. I even took pictures of it and subsequently promised to blog about it later. The glamorousness sort of faded as time went on. However, I still have the pictures, and I think I'll try to revisit what lingering glamour is left by finally blogging about it now. That's a good way to celebrate on of the. Mmmmm Butter London paintnolish. :). I know Alexander seems to think so. What thrift stores do you...

Bone-a-fide: August 2006
http://bone-a-fide.blogspot.com/2006_08_01_archive.html
True tales of life after bone cancer. Thursday, August 31, 2006. I got a ticket to ride (TELLU-ride, that is)! This is the weekend of the fabulous Telluride Film Festival and B and I are leaving for Telluride today! We will be staying with my friend Tim, who has been working the Telluride Film Festival for the past eight or ten years. He’s a filmmaker and somehow he manages to work his schedule each year to take a month or two off and go work as a manager at the festival. Jealous? I have to admit it will...

True tales of life after bone cancer. Monday, January 29, 2007. I haven't taken time to blog for the past week because.I've been too busy SHOPPING! I've been a shopping maniac. Did I come into some money? Win a mall spree? Have a bunch of Christmas gift certificates to cash in? Yes, but that's not WHY I've been shopping. Then, WHY, you ask? Because, I'm leaving for Paris tomorrow! That's right, PARIS! It took Brian twenty minutes to pack tonight; it's taken me two weeks. But if you were to ask. I do thin...

True tales of life after bone cancer. Monday, September 29, 2008. It’s our first anniversary today! A very happy and exciting day. Brian and I ended up being able to celebrate in a few special ways:. 1 We spent last week in beautiful Oaxaca, Mexico visiting our friend Megan, along with our friends Matt and Tim. We had a blast. More on that from me later. Or, you can find about our adventures directly from Matt on Megan’s blog. 3 We decided that since. Yes, that’s right folks: our little secret is out....

tea and cathedrals: June 2012

It's a wonderful day when. This morning we ate breakfast with my Mamma. She had a meeting in San Antonio yesterday and had to come see Alexander, who hadn't seen his Gigi since he was 3 months old! They were both so excited! During a long nap, (not my own, just to clarify) I potted some sweet potato vine for the front porch, and generally cleaned up the yard. We walked the library where we saw a book about goblins. We had a good music time together. Today was completely overcast almost all day long.

In case anyone's listening. It's odd how I don't at all mind certain pictures of myself now that I distinctly remember hating at the time they were taken. That gives me hope for the ones taken this past week/weekend in Rockport. I'm still thinking about blogging, and reading everyone else's blog, I just never do it these days. I will soon. And my hair is dark brown and I have bangs now. I'm re-reading the Emily. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Wife, mommy, language and history lover, thrifter and pianist.
