The pilot light has gone out a couple of times, but apparently it needs to be fixed and the stupid landlord (whom i still haven't met) hasn't fixed the furnace yet. my room is an icebox, and it's probably not helping me get better. i need to by a heater for my room so i don't freeze to death in the night. I can rely on myself. But, I'm starting to realize that I'm not very reliable. Maybe I got that from my parents. Hells Bells and Cockle shells. We just had to replace the heating and Air cond. system for our whole house plus the shocks and struts need replaced on Dads car after learning my car needed a total tune-up!

Thursday, July 30, 2009. Why I love the UFC: Confessions of a Closet MMA Fan. I like to pretend that I’m a fairly sophisticated person. I read good books. I enjoy classical music. I enjoy the theater. I love expensive food! I’ll talk economics or politics with whomever ever will listen. But, alas it appears I’m just a brutish redneck at heart. Why, you might ask? I love mixed martial arts (MMA). Specifically, I am fan of the Ultimate Fighting Championships (UFC). Nevertheless, I love watching the sport.
