Shared Goodies – Play of the Mind
https://audryn.wordpress.com/shared
Play of the Mind. I’m not thrilled with how Amazon is managing sharing highlights right now, so I’ve ripped them from their site ( http:/ kindle.amazon.com. And dropped them into some pages here to share with interested friends. (Yes, I highlight a LOT! One of the reasons I have become a huge Kindle fan.). Gratitude – Play of the Mind
https://audryn.wordpress.com/2013/01/17/gratitude
Play of the Mind. January 17, 2013. A couple of years back I posted on FB three things a day for which I felt grateful and happened to save the list in Evernote. As I was cleaning up my notes, I found it and decided to share it here with a few edits and new items. I think I’ll keep this one updated. It is a good reminder of how very blessed I am and have been. 8212;———-. 1 Dan, my wonderful husband who made my most cherished dreams come true. 2 Roan, my amazing, precious first-born son. 14 That I can fee...

Riding in Cars with Hot Babes – Play of the Mind
https://audryn.wordpress.com/2009/09/25/riding-in-cars-with-hot-babes
Play of the Mind. Riding in Cars with Hot Babes. September 25, 2009. January 20, 2011. The other morning we were driving down Lake City Way and passed a very attractive buxom blonde woman getting out of a parked car near Chick-a-Latte (the local “get-your-coffee-from-a-sexy-barista” drive-through espresso stand). Without thinking, I said out loud, “You are a hot babe! From the backseat, Roan said, “I not hot. I just warm.”. Besides being super-cute, I’m so glad he misunderstood me! Enter your comment here.

So it begins… – Play of the Mind
https://audryn.wordpress.com/2009/11/05/so-it-begins
Play of the Mind. So it begins…. November 5, 2009. January 19, 2011. This morning Roan said “I want a computer.”. He amended it to “I want mommy’s computer to watch Cars,” but you can see where this is headed. This apple definitely fell close to the tree. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. Going in reverse – Play of the Mind
https://audryn.wordpress.com/2011/01/30/going-in-reverse
Play of the Mind. January 30, 2011. The best part about co-sleeping is cuddling and kissing on your babe, but I swear sometimes it feels like he’s trying to work his way back into me. Thermos gets an "A" for customer service – Play of the Mind
https://audryn.wordpress.com/2009/10/29/thermos-gets-an-a-for-customer-service
Play of the Mind. Thermos gets an A for customer service. October 29, 2009. Roan drinks milk out of a Foogo straw bottle which we try to get back into the fridge regularly, but if we don’t, it keeps the milk cool for a while. While on the road, he chewed off the end of the straw – luckily I caught it before it fell off into his throat and really ruined our trip. It would have been an A if the part was free, but otherwise it was refreshing to make a CS call that was so entirely hassle-free. You are commen...

Play of the Mind. 8220;Stuff” Highlights. Stuff: Compulsive Hoarding and the Meaning of Things. Langley was always busy and often complained of not having enough time to do the things he needed to do. One of those things, Langley told the police on several occasions, was clearing and organizing his home. He claimed to be saving things so that he and his brother could be self-sufficient. In hoarding, however, we frequently see positive emotions propelling acquisition and saving. In many ways, hoarding loo...

That’s my boy – Play of the Mind
https://audryn.wordpress.com/2009/09/09/thats-my-boy
Play of the Mind. That’s my boy. September 9, 2009. January 20, 2011. Spunky from the start. This picture was taken shortly after he was born, on June 29, 2009. He was 10 lbs 3.7 oz and 23.5 inches long. I find it alarming that I had something almost two feet long inside of me, though it does help explain the enormity of the belly.
