International Guide Dog Day in Riga. ELO dogs and our Dīva. Andris a young man is visually impaired. Since early childhood he has been dreaming about a dog his own. Finally his dream has come true! Last summer he met Feja and together they started guide dog training. In December of 2014 they successfully passed the guide dog examination. Up to the age of eight months, he lived in a foster family with three children. After undergoing testing and. An X-ray, he began 16 months of training to become a guide dog. The first to set off in the 21 km half marathon is young doctor Kristaps Dambergs. Around lunch time, the 5 km runner get ready to start.
