He hadn't officiated at Benj's funeral; he saw no reason to take a place at the altar at Kate's. He sat in a front pew, rising only to say a few words in her memory, and otherwise faded into the background. With Kate's passing, he was the only one left. Chris H. (. So yeah, it's a tight spot. How can I get out of this one? I've probably got a minute before the General gets to the control room and initiates the launch sequence. I take a second out of that minute to face the sheer desperation of the situation. It seems hopeless, I think to myself, this could very well be the end of. Ah, screw it.
