Probably because after 3 years I was just barely getting things decorated the way I liked, then it is time to box it all up and ship out. Ugh again. I tried as best I could to keep things organized and efficient, but my organized is probably everyone else's chaos. There were a lot of boxes, and the kids LOVED the boxes. Um, Eleanor. be soft!

We shared a wall with the Johnsons, easily the best neighbors you could ever have. We also had the Phillips and Seedalls and then for the last half year, the Hutchisons and the Olivers. Apr 2, 2013. Over a month ago I took Ryker to Utah with me for a break and get some wedding stuff finished. We had a great time and he was a wonderful trooper as we hit four airports and three flights. He deserved the time we spent at Chuck E Cheese. It was nice having help also. Ryker here is giving Whitni some driving lessons. It was also good to see how great Whitni's soon to be husband is with kids. Even though physically. I was exhausted mentally I enjoyed the world through Ryker's eyes.

Sunday, August 30, 2009. Yesterday was the 4 year Anniversary of Hurricane Katrina. I can still remember it as if it were yesterday. I wonder if over time I will not get teary eyed when I think about what we saw and went through. We honestly thought that the storm would turn and we would be uncomfortable for a few days without electricity, but everything would return to normal and we would all go back to our lives.
