HonestGrl: Surfside 26.2
http://honestgrl.blogspot.com/2010/02/surfside-262.html
Saturday, February 13, 2010. A place of seashells, fishermen, oil rigs, toxic ocean, and the Surfside Marathon/Half marathon. A little background of the race is that it is small. Very small. That worried me a bit. Last year there were only six people in my age division. Only 240 marathoners in all. There was good potential that I could come in last.or first.but more likely last. Things that interested me in this race before I ran it:. I squealed with delight. One great thing that I really liked about thi...

As you know it. Life and times of me and my family. Wednesday, April 27, 2011. I have stumbled across an awesome photographer. Courtesy of my friend Jodi. She came out to my house, and turned my basement into a little mini studio to take pictures of my kids, along with 2 of my friends kids. I never even had to leave my house! These are just a few of my favorites! This one I ordered as a 20x30 canvas. This is Bella's rocking horse she got for Christmas. I love this one! Sunday, April 24, 2011. Tony really...

http://honestgrl.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
Tuesday, June 1, 2010. The World's Smallest 26.2. I'm the new kid in town. I don't know the ropes of where I live and wanting to dive into the endurance community I decided to sign up for a marathon. I looked up runningintheusa.com and looked for a close-to-home marathon. The one that fit my schedule: Elma, Washington. I had never heard of this town before, but it was nearby and the site looked legit so.I signed up. So we got there a half hour early, checked out the four orange cones marking the driveway...

Thursday, August 27, 2009. Natalie told me to! Sewed until 5:30 when I sat in the car to go home. It was so much fun and such a good feeling to accomplish this by ourselves, at the end anyways. Natalie came and helped us put Sarah's flower together and I finished mine at home in the evening. We love them. Thanks Francie and Natalie. Going to Fields Fabric on Friday. Gram Lois now wants one and Natalie will show me how to do a new one. Can't wait. Of course the pink is Sarah's and mine is the blue. The ch...

Thursday, June 19, 2008. Hi, you would think I am the mom wouldn't you with all my blog news. Well, my daughter doesn't have a blog yet, and I will probably have to teach her how to do one, so I have to do all the bragging. On Leah's 8 month and 1 day birthday she started crawling forward. Yeah! Wednesday, June 18, 2008. It was our last bath time together so I decided we should take a few pictures to show how she has grown from the first pictures I took. Looks like he is checking out Leah. From what ...

Sunday, January 4, 2009. As many of you know, Sarah has taught at Oakwood. Academy for the last 4 years. She attended school there from grades 1-8. Went to Andrews Academy for 11-12 and graduated from AU. Her student teaching was also done at Oakwood. And she even substituted at Andrews Academy. There is a soft spot in her heart for her former schools and teachers. This last year since having Leah has been the first year she hasn't taught. When making that decision, she promised Oakwood. The best grandpa...

Sunday, April 25, 2010. Well, another year has come and gone. Where does the time go? All the hours of meetings and planning, registering and organizing, planning and making decorations, getting speakers, making gift bags, etc. So much work but so much fun and so rewarding to serve the women when the time comes. Just received word today of several ladies back in church and giving their hearts to the Lord as the result of the retreat. That's what it's all about. I thought the sliver and black would be the...
