http://auntiesquaintquilts.blogspot.com/2014/02/heartfelt-home.html
Journal of a Quilter. Sunday, 23 February 2014. This morning I worked on my 2013 Designer Mystery Block of the Month. Quilt from the Fat Quarter Shop. I have seen block nine on a couple of blogs this week so thought I'd better get block eight done before it arrives here. Block 8 - Heartfelt Home. By Polly Minick and Laurie Simpson. I love these Avalon fabrics soooo much. During the week I also found some pockets of time to work on Scandinavian Rose. Mine seems to be flying by! 23 February 2014 at 14:35.

AUNTIE'S QUAINT QUILTS: Block 5, 6 and 7
http://auntiesquaintquilts.blogspot.com/2014/01/block-5-6-and-7.html
Journal of a Quilter. Sunday, 12 January 2014. Block 5, 6 and 7. It's hard to believe there are only 5 blocks to go in this years Fat Quarter Shop. I put block 7 together yesterday then dragged out block 5 and 6 for a photo shoot. As much as I LOVE Avalon. I struggle with the really dark blues. The centre square in each block is supposed to be navy blue but I have substituted other fabrics from the range. Block 5 - Stargazing. Block 6 - Sparklers. Block 7 - Lemon Lodge. 12 January 2014 at 23:15. I love t...

Journal of a Quilter. Tuesday, 14 January 2014. I have been making the most of my time to sew during the holidays. It is so nice not having to rush off to work each morning . I may even have had a few pyjama days! My latest achievement is this table runner called Button Blooms. This was one of the kits I received from Sarah. As part of the Fig Tree Club. The fabric range is California Girl. And the pattern uses two charm packs for the blocks. 14 January 2014 at 16:06. 14 January 2014 at 16:18. So great t...

http://auntiesquaintquilts.blogspot.com/2014/06/hacked.html
Journal of a Quilter. Tuesday, 3 June 2014. This was not exactly how I'd planned my return to blogland! Today I received numerous emails from concerned friends checking whether I'd sent a suspicious email they had received. Well, the answer was a definite NO! A lot has happened since I last blogged. Real life events made it hard for me to hang out here but I have started sewing again and hope to have some 'quilty/stitchy' posts soon. Below is a peek at my Button Blooms. 3 June 2014 at 19:27. So wonderful...

Idaho Quilter: June 2011
http://idahoquilter.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
Monday, June 20, 2011. Summer is here, so the Idaho Quilter is spending more outdoors. Now that I live in rainy, dreary, cloudy, Portland Ore, I take every opportunity to be out in the sun when it shines. I may as well include a shot of my Fairy Garden I built for my granddaughter, maybe you can make out the Fairy setting by the pond on the left side. I'll be back when it rains. Knowing Portland that may be tomorrow. Links to this post. Wednesday, June 1, 2011. Loving some Kaffe quilts! What do you think?

Tuesday, September 28, 2010. What have I been doing? Making scrap quilts, this one is Scrappy Bargello. The scraps just keep growing, and growing. Thanks goodness for Bonnie at www.quiltville.com and all her great ideas for scrap quilts. The grand kids love them and are not afraid to use them. No fancy quilting, just straight lines using the walking foot. The binding will be on this one tonight ready to stitch while TV viewing. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). http://idahoquilter.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html
Tuesday, April 7, 2009. I have had several inquiries about my absence. I am taking a short break from blogging while I prepare to move. I have decided to move to Portland to be closer to my family, so there is much to do. The sewing machine has been put away for awhile, I am still following what others are doing and can't wait to get re settled so I can start a new project. In the mean time I will leave you with a few photos of my lastest quilt. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
