Sunday, October 14, 2012. Two days with no internet. On days 11 and 12 we had no internet. It's surprising how much stuff you can do when you're not glued to a keyboard or mouse, staring blindly at a screen. It also helps when the electricity goes off for a bit. Day 12, still no internet. Imagine my surprise this noon when, while brushing my pearly whites (or pearly beiges), I looked down and saw something growing out of the overflow drains in the sink! We've both been drinking soft drinks since we were small children so it is very hard to quit. Why quit? Well the stuff is expensive and we really don't need all the chemicals and stuff that is in them. Besides, I don't like being addicted to something. We'll see how long this lasts.
