Thursday, March 21, 2013. My Mirror Has A Reflection. I know what it feels like to be invisible.sitting in a room full of people.I can see them, they don't see me. Everyone is talking to everyone else. I try to join in, I am looked.over.through.or not at all. My questions go unanswered.my comments are not acknowledged.my suggestions are ignored. I always try to be friendly, some don't even return a smile or a simple "hello". Many have parties.pot lucks.get-togethers. But to invite me, nobody bothers.

Tuesday, May 7, 2013. Opening The Camper.Literally! So I took last Thursday and Friday off so we could go to camp and get things opened up for the season. We knew the floor in the kitchen area was weak from a prior water leak that happened before we bought it, but never expected what we walked into on Thursday when we got there. Doesn't she remember that this time of year we are supposed to be in the 60's? Doesn't she know that in order for April showers to bring May flowers, there have to be a few days of warmth and sunshine? I would be happy with days in the 80's and nights in the mid 50's, as long as I have my hubby to snuggle up to. I can't be...

Wednesday, November 24, 2010. I thought this sounded good! Here is a turkey recipe that also includes the use of popcorn as a stuffing ingredient - imagine that. When I found this recipe, I thought it was perfect for people like me, who just are not sure how to tell when turkey is thoroughly cooked, but not dried out. *. Give this a try. 1 - 15 lb. turkey. 1 cup melted butter. 1 cup stuffing (Pepperidge Farm is Good). 1 cup un-popped popcorn (ORVILLE REDENBACHER'S LOW FAT IS BEST). Links to this post.
