Faith for the Journey. Thursday, November 26, 2009. November 25, 2008 we received Eli's referral information. We were overjoyed last Thanksgiving to show his pictures to everyone (above), but this year was much better! Eli was at our big family Thanksgiving (25 people) and he got to show off, spill drinks, eat pie, put a kitchen towel in the toilet, and eat some more. Thank you, Lord, for the blessing of family. Monday, March 23, 2009. We went to the doctor on March 13 for Callaway's 4 month check up. She is doing really well. She was 25" long and weighs 14 pounds 1 oz. She got another round of shots and she didn't even cry! I couldn't believe it. She is a tough little girl. The nurse asked if she was breathing because she couldn't get over that she didn't make a peep either! I said she was just showing off because her Daddy was there with her. Maybe I should buy stock in a pea manufacturer. Isn't he so cute!

Wednesday, November 3, 2010. The Battle of Britain Party. So Luke and I got a night out last week, which rarely EVER happens. We got all dressed up and had a night out with great friends! We have a British exchange pilot in our squadron, and the British government gives him an allowance to put on a Battle of Britain party, honoring a historal victory over Germany back in the day. The party included the traditionl burning of a piano, which I still don't know why it's a tradition but it was fun!
