How is living down under . Friday, 19 October 2007. New Zealand: Rotorua and Auckland. Huka Falls in Taupo (the flow is however regulated by a hydro powerplant up the river). Crater of the moon (on the Earth). The Northern Island has got plenty of active volcanic spots. Rotorua museum, it used to be nice old-fashioned Spa. How is living down under . Tuesday, 18 September 2007. Two weeks ago we went to The Northern Territory.We flew from Sydney to Darwin, hired a car there and headed down to Kakadu National Park, Kathrine, Alice Springs and amazing Uluru and Kata Tjuta National Park. It took us 6 day and we enjoyed every minute of this short trip. Toyota Corolla that we hired, the automatic transmition was very new for us and bit tricky :). Shopping before we went bush. :). How is living down under . Monday, 8 October 2007. Arrival of Ondra's parents. On 27th September Ondra's parents arrived to Sydney. We were waiting for them at the airport holding a sign with their names as Mr. Parik had wished. :). First contact with the ocean. cooooold. At the Coogee beach. Nielsen Park, a shark protective net. This was a house where Milena and Jiri stayed for 8 nights. Actually they occupied only one room upsatairs :). Afternoon coffee at "teticka's" place. Still somewhere in Europe.
