Tuesday, September 22, 2009. San Diego 'n' Sweets. One of the things I was most excited to do, after Disneyland, was to take my famiy to the tide pools. I always loved exploring the tide pools in Monterey Bay whenI studied there and I was sure the kids would be tickled with all the life in the intertidal zone. La Jolla has some great tide pools because of it's rocky shore line and Wednesday evening was the best daytime low tide that week, so off we went. San Diego was fabulous! Thursday, July 30, 2009. Our VERY Big Day. Arianna is officially a 1st grader and she is LOVING it! And I love that she loves it. She only briefly mentions how long the day is but gushes about how much fun everything else is; good sign! She is thrilled w/ her teacher, Mrs. Shuler, who seems kind and very organized from the little bit I have seen so far. She has an exciting curriculum planned for them this year! Sunday, March 6, 2011. It's official.my baby boy turned three! I mean, in his eyes he was three YEARS ago because he is 5 just like his brother but now the rest of us see it too. Thursday, January 14, 2010. Our little girl is well on her way to becoming a toothless wonder! She has only lost one (which she was VERY anxiously awaiting) but she has two more that are on their way. She lost her first tooth just two days after Christmas and she pulled it out herself! She is just LOVING this! She is busy wiggling her teeth all the time now in hopes of getting another out. How did she grow up so fast? Wasn't it just yesterday she really was toothless? I was trying really hard not to see that as an opportunity to finally get a 'real' camera and dabble a bit in photography. All my efforts failed me. So now what I need is advice. Sunday, March 6, 2011. I will leave the judgement of Marco's ball skills to those lucky souls that play church ball w/ him on occasion. :). Really though, all the kids HAVE been Jimmered. When they play ANY game now they fight over which one gets to be Jimmer (the 'loser' of said battle gets to be Joshua 'Juice' Quesada, which is ALMOST as cool). Tuesday, June 15, 2010. It is Sunday morning and I am two days from being due with my fourth child. Arianna says: Why do you have bags under your eyes? I try to explain how hard it is to sleep at night and that I am RATHER swollen all over and then I ask her if she thinks I ought to do something about it. A: yea, I saw a commercial for some stuff.and the first 100 callers get a free gift if they call right now. I just had to laugh. I LOVE infomercials, don't you? Thursday, November 4, 2010. OK, so catching up isn't so hard if I don't write much, so here is a flash of September:. Our baby is learning to hold up her head! Adoration from the oldest brother. Adoration of the big brother; he just can't get close enough! She loves Pat-a-cake w/ big brother. What tires out these kids so? So much fun w/ great friends! See all those muscles? My little man is off to his own school (well, playschool) and he LOVES having something to call his own. All clean.and serious.
