http://amy-cita.blogspot.com/2012/06/dads-dogs.html
The Life of Amycita. Tuesday, June 26, 2012. Father's Day weekend, Brad and I headed down to Boerne to spend time with his family. We always enjoy our time there and the dogs love it because they get to run around on their land. In addition to it being Father's Day, it was also Berges Fest. Time in Boerne. Every little German town in Texas has a festival for something. and Boerne is no exception! And they were SO CUTE! It is hard work to sprint when you are only a couple of inches from the ground! There ...

http://amy-cita.blogspot.com/2011/09/from-g-to-z.html
The Life of Amycita. Sunday, September 11, 2011. From G to Z. This weekend was a busy one with happy occasions! Saturday afternoon, we headed to San Marcos for the wedding of one of my friends from work - Erica. You may remember her from our adventures in California. When I started my new job and went there for training. She married her long time boyfriend, Adam aka "Zimmie". Adam is nicknamed Zimmie because his last name is Zimmerhansel. So, Erica went from Gonzales to Zimmerhanzel! Its a nickname I pic...

The Life of Amycita: January 2012
http://amy-cita.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
The Life of Amycita. Saturday, January 7, 2012. On A Winter's Eve. Last month, I enjoyed a nice holiday night out with some special ladies. For that night, we were the official fan club of our friend Mary, an Alto with the Austin Civic Chorus. My lovely dates. Beth and Laura. My camera didn't get many good pictures that night, which is disappointing. However, I promise it was a wonderful night! Every time Mary would walk by to go on stage, she wouldn't look at me! She said I would make her laugh! However...

The Life of Amycita: Our living room comes together... finally!
http://amy-cita.blogspot.com/2011/09/our-living-room-comes-together-finally.html
The Life of Amycita. Monday, September 5, 2011. Our living room comes together. finally! As I started looking closer, I realized the color was correct but the finish wasn't. they had used the wrong base for the paint! That made all of the new paint shiny compared to the original paint! UGH So, we loaded up and headed BACK to Home Depot which a fire in our belly to get this correct once and for all! So, finally, as the paint went on the walls, it looked right. Helping Brad with the re-touch up. From G to Z.

The Life of Amycita: Final Day in DC: Who doesn't love a parade??
http://amy-cita.blogspot.com/2012/06/day-8-who-doesnt-love-parade.html
The Life of Amycita. Monday, June 11, 2012. Final Day in DC: Who doesn't love a parade? On our final day of our vacation, we would pack a few more things in. It would be an early start with a late finish, but totally worth it! First on the agenda was a trip into downtown DC with Brad's Aunt Cindy and Uncle Bob for the National Cherry Blossom Parade! There was a huge Children's Choir - see them in the shape of a blossom on the steps? Every branch of the military was represented. Awesome Japanese drum group.

The Life of Amycita: Animal House...
http://amy-cita.blogspot.com/2012/06/animal-house.html
The Life of Amycita. Thursday, June 28, 2012. This weekend all the animals in our house got a treat. even some that don't live IN our house. So, I got two new bird feeders and a bunch of seed. Next the dogs got a little TLC. First we took them to PetsMart to get their nails trimmed. The trimming part isn't all that exciting for them. but the car ride and walking through the store is so much fun! So, our house is usually peaceful for a while post-bath. It is a popular window because of the bird feeder.

http://amy-cita.blogspot.com/2012/06/my-debut.html
The Life of Amycita. Friday, June 15, 2012. Since we first started attending our church last year, I have been actively involved in the Choir. I look forward to singing every Sunday and the weekly rehearsals. Last month I decided to audition for the Praise/Worship Team. I have sung in church choirs before but I have never done anything like this before! I mulled it over for a LONG time before actually making the decision to audition. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Why the name Amycita for my blog?

The Life of Amycita: Tucker The Adventurer...
http://amy-cita.blogspot.com/2008/09/tucker-adventurer.html
The Life of Amycita. Friday, September 26, 2008. We had a scare last night, but if you asked Tucker, he would say he just went out for a walk. Grr. As you know, our backyard isn't attached to our backyard. So, the dogs have gotten really good about letting us open the back door and they will run through the gate and into our yard on their own. Then when they come back in, they get a treat. This has been our routine for some time. So as I drove the neighborhood, I found Jason searching on foot. becaus...

The Life of Amycita. Sunday, September 11, 2011. This month marked the birthdays of a very special little boy and girl. So, what better way to celebrate than a joint party with Rainbows for the girls and Rockets for the boys? Who are the lucky twosome? My favorite 1 year old, Rush and the most awesome 4 year old, Troy! These are the children of my friend Kasi. I always look forward to her parties because they are awesome - every detail captured and SO creative. This party was no exception. Troy's cake wa...
