Wednesday, January 31, 2018. Mid-January Austin and I took a ski trip with friends in Breckenridge thanks to Austin's parents for babysitting and Brett's parents for welcoming us to stay in their gorgeous mountain home. I had not skied in that much powder for more than a decade! It was crazy how deep it was! It was up to my knees at the start of the day and in some places my waist! It was fun and exhausting. I decided to only ski one day and relax the other two days of the trip. We went to see Star Wars!

Saturday, April 26, 2014. Here is Adrienne with a comparison to Sadie on the right. Pretty cute babies! She is still a fairly quiet baby. But when she does get in the talkative mood (usually when Sadie is napping or not around to distract her) she can be pretty loud. She is still squealing and cooing most of the time, but I have heard one or two consonant sounds here and there. She has the cutest laugh! The raspberries don't come very often anymore, but the drool sure is spilling out. She loves her Sadie!

Tuesday, August 26, 2014. She belts out her super high pitched squeals around dinnertime almost every night. It hurts my ears. She's still babbling and has tried to say "daddy" and "Sadie" as well as cute attempts at other words. She'll say "momma" but not in reference to me, haha! Monday, May 25, 2015. Work to home fashion. One of the troubles of being a part-time stay-at-home-mom and part-time teacher is that I need two outfits every day. First thing in the morning I get dressed professionally and then when I get home mid-morning, I need to change quickly before sticky kid hands reach me! I typically take off my dress clothes and throw on a t-shirt and sweats. But of course this doesn't make me feel very good about my appearance, especially if we need to run errands that day!
