Remarkable Rosie: Post Op!

Wednesday, June 25, 2008. Rosie had her right stifle (hind knee) repaired and secured with tension wire. She will have to be confined to a crate for some weeks for recovery, but we are quite hopeful that she will be feeling much better soon! Immediately after the surgery she was really out of it from the anesthesia- completely disoriented and afraid and acting very nutty. Sweet 6-week old baby July was found as a stray and brought to the local kill shelter on the 4th of July. He waited for four days in isolation for someone to come and claim him but no one did. This gorgeous and sweet Australian Shepherd boy sadly ended up in a kill shelter with his brothers on May 16, 2008. Luckily, this little one was rescued by Austin Aussie Rescue.
