Perhaps I should set him up with my Fitbit for a day to see just how active he is. This was the inspiration for a personal piece I created called “The Treadmill”. Working with stylist Natalie Ogura. He brought along several of his own props and collectibles, and my son played the role of the indifferent neighborhood kid. We photographed at a house in Austin, and after the shoot we though adding the Ferris Bueller reference would be a nice touch! You can read a blog post about the shoot here.

But I was happy to give it a tip of the hat for a family’s Christmas card. Leg lamps are pretty easy to come by, but a bunny suit and authentic Ovaltine take more time. This little girl shows us around her daddys office! Nikon D5100 and D5200 (18-55mm). Donlon and Taylor: American Heroes. What an honor it was to meet two people who went beyond the call of duty to protect their country! While the Black Hawk descended, the whole school awaited their arrival! The music and the fanfare and the emotion of it all reminds me to be thankful for where I live and who I live with! 5 hours of pure adrenaline! The facility itself is something to behold!
