The Richardson Family: July 2014

Wednesday, July 2, 2014. Rich grew up on the lake and we always went a couple times a year growing up, so we both knew that we wanted our kids to be raised around water! I had no idea how relaxing and enjoyable it could actually be with two little ones! They LOVE every second of it! Kaylor naps without any problem and Lucy Jane has mastered a front flip from the side of the boat! Once again, I am so thankful for Rich's adventurous spirit and making sure we create memories! She loves driving the boat!

Thursday, November 28, 2013. Today was the PERFECT day! I have not left the house all day, and we have spent the majority of the day in our comfy pajamas! We were sad that Josh had to work this weekend, but we are so glad Haley and Baby Hoyt were able to be here with us! Nana and Bubba drove up this morning with Tee Tee and Hoyt! We had a kitchen full of food and ate until we were stuffed! Kaylor was sharing his ham with Bubba! The afternoon was spent relaxing! We laid around and played with the kiddos!

Sunday, October 20, 2013. Fun, Fun, Fun. What a fun few days we have had, but boy are we tired! Thursday, we met My aunt, Darla, and cousin, Piper in alma to bring Piper home with us for the night! Lucy Jane tells EVERYONE that Piper is her best friend and she was super excited about her coming to stay the night! She wanted her to be her big sister for the night! We ate Mexican before heading home! Saturday, Lucy Jane and I had a quick trip to the park while Kaykor was napping at Nana's! Fun, fun weekend!

Monday, September 1, 2014. First Day of Pre-K 4. Lucy Jane has started pre-school, like the year before kindergarten! Crazy to me that she is already this big! We went to meet her new teacher, Mrs. Ludwig. Lucy Jane was excited that she was in the same classroom as last year; however, she was disappointed that it wasn't kindergarten. For some reason, she was really looking forward to being a kindergartner! It takes a village to get this family out the door in the mornings! She looks so big! Do you know w...

Sunday, January 4, 2015. HIS plan, not ours! We started our journey home from Colorado yesterday, but little did we know what our day would hold! We began by having breakfast with our sweet friends, Mel and Nancee Conant in Denver! When we left Denver, it was snowing but we didn't think much of it! Rich acted concerned that the weather was supposed to get worse the more East we got, I didn't really care! I was very confident in his driving skills and knew he could get us home in ONE day! So, we were goin...

Wednesday, November 5, 2014. I have been waiting for this day for nine long months! Finally my sweet niece is here! Her cheeks, y'all! Hoyt is a proud big brother! I brought Lucy Jane with me and came and waited at the hospital. Rich kept Kaylor and they waited until sweet Palmer Kate was born to come to the hospital! Our first looks at sweet cheeks! This girl has some chubby cheeks, and her Tee Tee loves to kiss them! Lucy Jane and Hoyt enjoyed playing for the most part! This sweet girl is so loved!

Wednesday, January 29, 2014. First of all, I am not a Blogger, writer, or expert on any topic! Just felt the need to disclose that before I started writing! I love to blog for the simple purpose of journaling our life and kiddo stuff to look back on and remember later! With that being said, I felt the need to share what was on my heart! A couple weeks ago I was driving down the road and for some reason there was no chaotic noise coming from the back seats! I can barely stand right now. When I feel afraid...

Friday, March 27, 2015. We had an awesome Spring Break! It was so nice to have a "stay-cation"! The kids love being outside and actually play really well together right now, so Rich and I are taking advantage of it! Monday and Tuesday morning, Lucy Jane participated in a gymnastics camp which she loved! She thinks her floor routine is amazing, the bars are her best friend, and the balance beam is.well.she thinks she's something else! The afternoons were full of sunshine and playing! The girls had a blast!
