Willie, I almost spat out my laksa laughing. How did you do that? Looks like the German Straßenbahn . I keep checkin, Hope all is well, Emma.

http://australianhaiku.blogspot.com/2010/06/trains-winter-shadow-always-that-one.html
Wednesday, June 23, 2010. Winter shadow - always. A good picture and an interesting haïku. Why do you write a mistake? Beautiful to look at, but Ill have to think about the words. The gap between carriages? No, not a mistake. The personal reason for taking the train, maybe. Yep, Ill give it that meaning. This one goes on and on. Enigmatic, and compelling . And refreshing up here in the northern hemisphere on a hot day to read about winter :) ). You know how I like trains, Em. Welcome back with a great one.

The simple life. so needed! As always, m. Yes, welcome back, Emma! Wonderful haiga you have here. I look forward to more of it. Great to see you back. Clean, simple language and nice sourced pics - i like it. Love the choice of font and image too, and the contrast of action and simplicity in the ku itself. Happy to see a new post.

For a moment of joy or moments no one pays for, i give myself a ‘jornal’. this makes me rich. try it. Just a heart (a haibun). I honor the Force who/that sowed the seed who became me. In degrees though often unaware, I grew a heart. From rumblings a sprout answers to a name. Lashed by winds, bathed by rains, kissed by moonrise, swaddled by fog, cradled by dawns, how can I be less than a song. Neither eye nor lips the knowing sky. Far off foghorns for every one. April 20, 2015. In a mountain pond. Risen I...

Thirst | No Tall Poppies
https://notallpoppies.wordpress.com/the-idler-the-idle-thoughts-of-an-idle-mind/thirst
A Mother’s Prayer. Escape From The Past. With the soft glow of morning, renewed with a vigour never expected, his mind wanders to other times to recollect and compare this seemingly untainted moment with another slaking. Gratitude is a short-lived emotion and he is anxious, with the remorse of an impulsive buyer, to reassure himself that he, the man, has done well here. He remembers the desert no more nor considers he, his debt. December 7, 2008 at 12:50 pm. I wish I had your way with words! You made my ...

Australian Haiku
Monday, May 23, 2016. Thursday, May 19, 2016. Floats along the shore. Thursday, May 17, 2012. This haiku by 18th century poet Buson is possibly my favourite of the Japanese masters. It captures the endless possibilities of the public domain that awaits every one of us just 'beyond the gate'. This image was taken just beyond my gate in Sydney this autumn morning. Saturday, April 28, 2012. By all means drop by and feel free to comment. Sunday, April 15, 2012. Friday, March 30, 2012. Behind a beautiful man.
