この読み物は「ひい」こと「ひかり」の我が家での生活について書いたものです。ひいは乳飲み子のとき千葉の動物愛護センターから救われた犬で、2008年の4月（生後6カ月時）に当家の住人になりました。 12288;ひいの成長を振り返ると、まだ幼児なのだとはっきりわかった我が家にきた当時、いろいろなことを学習したけれど行動に幼さがあった時期、大人である私たち夫婦から見て無駄な行動がなくなった時期、そして六歳ともなると人間の大人がそうであるように性格がはっきりして変えようのないものになり、持って生まれた遺伝と生育環境との関係を飼い主なりに考えさせられる。ひいは甘ったれで、私に対する甘えは自分が群れの一員として認められ尊重されている証とでも思っているらしく、ときに強く我を通そうとする態度となって現れる。 12288;夜がふけ、私がベッドに寝そべるとすかさずひいは布団にもぐり込んできてぴったり体をくっつけてきた。そして、私が寝返りを打って姿勢を変えるたび、なんとかして体を密着させようとし続けた。 12288;のつもりであり、こうして愛情を別のかたちで確認していたのだろう。 12288;椅子から離れ床にしゃがんでひいと目...
