http://authorpaulkeene.blogspot.com/2013/02/map-it-out.html

All I need do is sit (or stand) and write, write, write. Right? Writing a novel without a map is similar to taking a road trip across the country to a destination never traveled. Delays, wrong turns, stops for direction, and getting lost. Take coffee cup in hand, leave desk. Go to office to retrieve cup.

Thursday, August 13, 2009. 5 Reasons not to Color and Label me ADHD. Everybody and their dog has ADHD. So it seems. The label is used loosely. It's the butt of jokes, laughter and put-downs. That's enough to raise an eyebrow, however, the problem isn't the jokes and put-downs. The label itself creates problems. Yes, the symp...

Words Get in your Head. A novel is written one word at a time. Wednesday, July 25, 2012. ADHD in the classroom: teachers beware. Regular education classes are filled with students exhibiting behaviors associated with ADHD, with or without the diagnosis. This is great for a number of reasons, foremost because they should be mainstreamed. They are bright, creative, and lovable. Teachers may have a difficult time recognizing this, and many will disagree. Why? Everyone loses- child, teacher, parents, peers.

Words Get in your Head: November 2011

http://authorpaulkeene.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html

Words Get in your Head. A novel is written one word at a time. Saturday, November 26, 2011. Your novel awaits- grab it fast! I am asked on occasion where I get ideas for novels. The answer is the same: "From the Universe," I say. Getting the idea for a novel is the easy part. As the saying (somewhat) goes, if I had a dollar for every idea I get for a novel, I'd be a millionaire whether I write one or not. However, an idea is simply an idea and nothing more until action is taken. Links to this post. As yo...

Paul Dionne - Women's Rights, Catholic Roots | Living to write and bring to light

Paul Dionne – Women's Rights, Catholic Roots. Living to write and bring to light. Did Jesus Have a Wife? September 29, 2012. Christian tradition has long held that Jesus was unmarried, although there is no reliable historical evidence to support that. Any evidence pointing to whether Jesus was married or had a female disciple could have ripple effects in current debates over the role of women in the church. Whether Jesus was married is not the point … it is his message of love that counts! January 2, 2012.

Hope, humor, and a touch of Supernatural. The real writer please stand. June 14, 2015. Emotional bonding with characters. The writer and two imposters faced the panel and answered questions. Among the highfalutin words sprinkled in the questions were artistic, clever, imaginative, inspiration, and creative spirit. The force that drives the writer. Loss of money, possesions … love, success. He checked the door locks twice, three times, and two more. And plot forced him face-to-face with inner demons.
