Symptom Diary? Food Diary?? | Autoimmunemaven's Blog
https://autoimmunemaven.wordpress.com/2014/07/10/symptom-diary-food-diary
Finding new, better ways to get it right! Given the downward turn my health has taken, I guess it’s time to brush off the old, dusty practice of keeping symptom and food diaries. On the good side, it makes me feel like I’m taking charge of my health and trying to manage the things within my control. Keeping track of things helps me identify triggers and patterns; those are things I can do something about. Karissa @ OCD Kitchen. Feb 19, 2016. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. Uncomfortable… | Autoimmunemaven's Blog
https://autoimmunemaven.wordpress.com/2014/07/10/uncomfortable
Finding new, better ways to get it right! Ya know, it is a decidedly uncomfortable situation when one is caught in a set of circumstances that cannot be quickly remedied. No matter how fast options pop up, none are fast enough to remedy the awkwardness of here and now. Wanting to be ‘enough’ but not being enough. Being asked to explain then not being believed. Feeling like a failure even though circumstances say success……. The dichotomy of life–can’t live with it; can’t live without it. Ev o lu tion.

Finding new, better ways to get it right! On to………. We’ve all heard “When life hands you lemons, make lemonade! 8221; Overall, it’s great advice and I am a staunch proponent of making the best of the hand we’re dealt. However, there’s a problem with the actual application; when one is mired in a rotten lemon pile, it’s pretty damned hard to mobilize the squeezer. Plan ahead, stay prepared, be humble, be positive, pay it forward because we only have two choices: we can hide out or help out. Ev o lu tion.

ABC's of RA: The Rip Tide...
http://abcsofra.blogspot.com/2012/09/the-rip-tide.html
My journey with rheumatoid arthritis. Monday, September 24, 2012. The first call came over two and 1/2 months ago. He was ill. He had been diagnosed with lung cancer caused from agent orange. My brother was in a fight for his life. I think these past few years and all my close family members passing has just taken its toll on me. I will try to stay grounded on the beach for awhile and I will try to tend my life but I will always (and I mean always) have my eye on the far horizon…wondering if th...Your co...
ABC's of RA: Having RA has made me a cat!
http://abcsofra.blogspot.com/2012/10/having-ra-has-made-me-cat.html
My journey with rheumatoid arthritis. Sunday, October 28, 2012. Having RA has made me a cat! I can't say that it just happened and one day I woke up (well on those few occasions when I am awake) and realized I had taken on so many of my four legged kitty companions personality traits. In reality, I have been slowly transforming into a cat for over fourteen years. I ask myself often if I didn't have ra would I have such a close affinity to this animal? But really, I can't help it! And I do mean everything...

My journey with rheumatoid arthritis. Saturday, February 4, 2012. Croc Pot Recipe.Deconstructed Stuffed Cabbage. I have always loved stuffed cabbage but with ra preparing this dish has just about become impossible. So as usual, my brain began whirring around (yes this can be dangerous as it creates smoke at times) to come up with a crock pot alternative that I could do. So here goes.my version of stuffed cabbage. Well, actually deconstructed stuffed cabbage. Slice and dice up the cabbage. This is the...

My journey with rheumatoid arthritis. Sunday, May 20, 2012. If It Ain't Broke, Don't Fix It! As part of national arthritis awareness month, we have been fortunate enough to witness a big uptake in the awareness of autoimmune related illnesses including ra. And this is great! And waiting until the cost of medical care falls low enough for a person to purchase that care, not only puts them at risk it could very well kill them! Do I have the answers? Links to this post. My journey with rheumatoid arthritis. Friday, October 5, 2012. I am falling for Fall. The air isn't quite crisp enough for me.not just yet anyway. Sunday, May 13, 2012. How to Make Your Morning and Evening Grooming Routines Simpler and More Seamless. After all the sadness and horror we have seen in the past few days, I thought a nice happy story was needed, if only to make you smile for a moment.
