Monday, August 27, 2007. Monday got off to a bad start! Sunday, August 26, 2007. It has been pretty low-key this weekend. Saturday was a scorcher, so we stayed in the cool indoors most of the day. Sunday, May 4, 2008. Time for another update! I am not even going to make excuses for not updating my blog. I am just going to get busy and then go to bed! It has been very busy since I last updated this page. Mimi has participated in two craft shows, the latest was at Freedom High School in Woodbridge, VA. It was an awful show! Monday, April 7, 2008. It has been a LONG time since I posted last. OK, what has been going on? We did Mimi's craft show - it went well. Mimi found out she had kidney stones. She went to hospital and had it taken care of last Friday. They blasted her with electric shock to break up the stones. She has spent the last couple of days recuperating. She has a couple coming up this month and in May. I was proud of myself. I resisted buying the loaded SUV for 35K! If you would like to see it, click here.

Sunday, December 23, 2007. The Christmas Shopping is Done! As usual, I saved my Christmas shopping for Mimi until the last moment! As of 2:30p on December 23rd, I am officially done! I know - I am weird, but I actually enjoy hitting the stores at the last minute and picking out Mimi's Christmas gifts. I usually have a rough idea of what I am going to get her, so it is does not take that long. Good thing since I normally despise. However, during the last minutes before Christmas, I do enjoy the energy.

Sunday, September 23, 2007. TIme is marching by and it is fall again! Life here has changed little since the last time I wrote. Mimi spends every free moment getting ready for the upcoming craft show. You can tell the pressure is on as it gets closer to October 6th. Yesterday, we took a proactive step of putting up the new E-ZUp. It is about 45 minutes south of here on the dreaded I-95. On the weekends, it can be a 40 minute drive or a 2 hour drive! Monday, December 17, 2007. Our annual Christmas party is a major event for Mimi. It is not unusual for her to start planning several months in advance. A Heritage Family Farm specializing in pastured pork, poultry, lamb and dairy. Tuesday, June 7, 2011. Shots from around the farm this week. LaVasseur gentleman rebuilding our green barn so we can move stuff out of our storage containers. Lots of gardening going on. Raven busy trimming around the beds and earthboxes. Elizabeth is hard at work. The lilacs are in bloom. Frostbite found a cool spot. Gina enjoys her farm chores. Goats are excited to move to fresh grass. So is the grass. The smell is amazing!
