Home from my heart: starts and finishes
http://homefrommyhearthomefrommyhands.blogspot.com/2012/02/starts-and-finishes.html
Friday, February 17, 2012. This week I have been . working in the studio. Going threw totes and drawers and shelves of fabric trying to use some of it to complete a couple of projects around the house. I found this old hamper at a local thrift store and decided to make a liner for it! Vintage barkcloth and vintage hand crochet lace two of my favorite things! My yarn and needles arrived on Monday so I got a good start on this. Every loaf gets a little bit better. And I finished up with my desert vest.

And since thier are all those symbles that I don't understand I printed out a little cheat sheet from a site like this. What have you been doing this winter? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Home from my heart: A Gift
http://homefrommyhearthomefrommyhands.blogspot.com/2012/02/gift.html
Monday, February 6, 2012. Christmas for me is a time to give something special to the ones I love and that means that they get at least one hand made item from me. That can be a little tricky when it comes to making something for hubby! This year however I think I did good. I saw this idea on Pintrest. And there you have it! And yes he liked it. Tuesday, October 25, 2011. A gift for my sweet Aunt Janet. I really wish I would have taken a better picture, anyhow this is a fun knitting bag that I made for my Mom to give to her Sister as an early Christmas gift. Love the fabric and I had a set of great stitch markers that my daughter made that went perfectly with the set. Are you thinking about Christmas yet? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Wednesday, January 25, 2012. The Pantry is still very full which makes me so thankful for the bountiful garden that we had last year. Lists have been started all the different things that I want to have in the garden this year, kale being at the top of that list! Working on eating more veg and less meat ( although I have no intention of giving up meat altogether! 1 1/2 cup diced carrots. 1 cup diced Celery. Here ...

Home from my heart: A Room Of His Own
http://homefrommyhearthomefrommyhands.blogspot.com/2012/02/room-of-his-own.html
Friday, February 10, 2012. A Room Of His Own. This is a very very very delayed post on the room that I redid for my Grandson this summer. One that I'm pretty proud of. The room was my son's before he moved out and he is responsible for the great paint job. I thought he did such a great job that I decided to just work with the colors Brown and blue perfect for a little boy right? I did very little in the way of spending money on anything new most everything was just re-purposed. View my complete profile.
